Precise dosing valve developed for demanding laboratory and analytical systems

Flow control specialist Bürkert has announced the release of a new dosing valve with media separation that offers minimal internal volume, fast switching times and high repeatability to ensure stable processes and reproducible results. Maximum utilisation starts with minimal internal volumes, so the new valve can perform optimally at low volumes, meaning even small quantities can be processed with accuracy and reliably transferred to downstream processes.

Added to this, the new valve’s fast switching capability enables precise dosing while optimised flow geometry delivers highly effective flushing. Whisper valves based on Lorentz actuator technology benefit from lower power consumption and noise output than alternative valve options, so combined with their ability to minimise any possible heat transfer into the fluids they manage, they are ideal for point-of-care and point-of-use applications.

Applications such as PCR analysis, use on pipetting arms in bioanalytics, oligo synthesis and the packaging of sensitive products present technological challenges that the Type 6732 solenoid valve was developed to address.
