Sulzer and Nordic Water show how to take full control of the water cycle at IFAT 2024

Sulzer, and its specialist brand Nordic Water, will be presenting several exciting innovations for the wastewater industry at IFAT 2024, held at Messe Munich, May 13-17. New products will include industry-leading pumping technology, aeration turbocompressors, pump controllers as well as filtration equipment that removes micropollutants, pharmaceutical residues and phosphorus.

Sulzer will be on Booth 321/420 in Hall B1, while Nordic Water will be in Hall A2, Booth 115/214. Water experts from both companies will be on hand to discuss the latest ways to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs and focus on improved sustainability.

IFAT 2024 covers all aspects of water treatment and management with a particular focus on current industry challenges including sustainability and environmental concerns such as micropollutants. Sulzer and Nordic Water offer innovative solutions and technologies for the complete water cycle that help to reduce energy usage and improve the performance of water treatment processes.

At this year’s event, Sulzer will be launching a number of new products. Visitors will be able to learn more about the BlueLinQ Pro equipment controller, an exciting addition to the HST turbocompressor family as well as the next generation of XFP pumps with ContraBlock Evo hydraulics for ultimate solids handling. In addition, a new dewatering pump along with several established industry-leading products such as the Muffin Monster grinder will also be on show. This expansive portfolio of solutions highlights Sulzer’s commitment to improving the efficiency and performance of customers’ installations.

At the same time, Nordic Water will be showcasing its innovative screen and filtration systems designed to deliver class-leading performance in water treatment plants.

The MevaScreen is further optimized for reliability and efficiency to protect equipment downstream. The DynaBelt effectively removes solids from the water stream as a novel primary filtration solution.

The DynaDisc filter delivers exceptional performance in floc removal and the reduction of phosphorous content in water, while the DynaSand carbon filter offers excellent rates of removal for pharmaceutical residues and PFAS ‘forever chemicals’.
