Today, Kidde Commercial is proud to announce the latest expansion of the EXCELLENCE Series, introducing new Input/Output Control Units and additional Notification Device options. These latest additions further strengthen the EXCELLENCE ecosystem, delivering greater flexibility, enhanced functionality, and more choice for customers across different markets and applications.
New EXCELLENCE Series Input/Output Control Units
The latest expansion of the EXCELLENCE Series Input/Output range introduces new device variants designed to provide greater installation flexibility and enhanced system performance.
New isolated and non-isolated versions are now available, giving system designers and installers more choice while maintaining full compatibility across the EXCELLENCE platform. Where short-circuit isolation is not required, non-isolated devices offer a simpler and more cost-effective solution.
The range has also been expanded with a new High-Speed Priority Input Unit, available with and without isolation, enabling faster response for applications where emergency inputs require prioritisation.
In addition, the existing Single Output Unit now supports Fail-to-Safe functionality for emergency exit applications, helping to meet EN14637 and BS7273 requirements.
New Notification Devices
The EXCELLENCE Series Notification Device range has also grown with the introduction of new White Flash visual alarm notification devices.
This addition provides greater flexibility for projects where white visual alarm notification is preferred, while complementing the existing portfolio of audible, visual, and combined notification devices. The result is more choice for consultants, specifiers, installers, and end users looking to combine performance, compliance, and aesthetics.
