Kidde Commercial expands their EXCELLENCE Series with a new notification range

Kidde Commercial is expanding its flagship EXCELLENCE Series with the launch of its new line of addressable notification devices. Designed for modern fire safety systems, the new EXCELLENCE Series notification devices offer audible, visual, and combination options designed to meet the growing needs of today’s commercial environments.

Each device is designed with a modern low-profile aesthetic, intuitive features that makes installation easy, and technology that supports faster, clearer communication in the event of an emergency. Designed with performance, flexibility and user experience in mind, the range supports both indoor and outdoor applications and offers tailored configurations, so you only pay for what you need. Integrated short circuit isolation is optional throughout the range.

Three types of EXCELLENCE

The new range includes three types of products. These are:

• Audible notification devices: With 32 selectable sounder tones, four adjustable volume levels, these units deliver clear, customisable alerts. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the range is available in signal red and traffic white.

• Visual notification devices: Available with ceiling or wall mounting, these visual alarm devices (VADs) come in traffic white. They feature high bright LED indicators, three selectable power levels, and efficient indoor performance.

• Audible & visual notification devices: Combining both audible and visual alerts, these multi-function devices support both visual indication device (VID) and visual alarm device (VAD) functions. Again they available in both red and white and suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

All models offer optional short circuit isolation, intuitive LED feedback, and a compact design, while sharing a common detector base that streamlines installation and reduces complexity. Features like tri-colour status indication, secure device locking, pre-and post-activation self-testing and laser marking help simplify commissioning, maintenance, traceability, and safety, while QR codes on product labels ensure that support access is always close at hand. All outdoor devices are IP65 rated.
