Updated 20th April 2023

The Optimal Group will showcase its combined offering to help pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers thrive in a challenging market at CHEMUK 2023, taking place from 10th-11th May. Through interactive demos and presentations, event attendees will be able to learn more about enhancing efficiency and profitability thanks to the brand’s digital technologies and industrial automation solutions.

CHEMUK is a leading event for the UK’s chemicals, chemical processing and chemical product formulation companies, providing key insights on how to advance their processes, plants, laboratories as well as entire supply chains. Offering extensive support to the industry, the Optimal Group will actively participate in the forum by highlighting the capabilities and offerings of its constituting companies, Optimal Industrial Automation and Optimal Industrial Technologies.

Visitors to stand E10 will be able to look at Optimal’s leading solutions and services to automate industrial processes, quality control and laboratory operations. One highlight will be a Process Analytical Technology (PAT) setup, where processing equipment, online/inline analytical instruments, predictive models and visualisation interfaces are connected to consistently and efficiently deliver high-quality, on-spec products.

Anyone interested in learning more about PAT, its benefits as well as its role in futureproofing chemical manufacturing and processing operations will be able to gain key insights from two presentations lead by Martin Gadsby, VP at the Optimal Group. On 10th May, he will discuss ‘The Application of PAT and Advanced Instrumentation to Support R&D, Manufacturing, Onshoring and the Circular Economy’ from 12:15 on Stage 3. The talk on 11th May at 13:10 on Stage 5, titled ‘PAT as a Critical Keystone in any Smart R&D, Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Strategy’ will look closely at the role of PAT as enabling technology for the digitalisation of the industry.

Martin Gadsby comments: “We look forward to exhibiting at CHEMUK a new, exciting range of fully automated demos designed to advance key activities in chemical processing and manufacturing. From fully integrated setups for process control and quality assurance to autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, all the way to PAT and digital twins, we can support the creation of future-oriented facilities. These, in turn, help companies reduce their production times, energy and resource utilisation whilst improving productivity, throughput and profitability. We invite anyone interested in knowing more to visit our experts on stand E10 or attend our lectures.”
