Revealing the meaning behind engineering jargon

Sulzer’s latest Powered by People video features rotating equipment experts clarifying technical terminology.
Sulzer has released a new episode in its Powered by People YouTube series.

In the video, 20 random Sulzer employees from a variety of departments are asked to correctly define challenging jargon relating to rotating equipment. Technical experts then reveal the true meaning of the phrases and their significance. You can view the episode, as well as the rest of the series, on the Sulzer YouTube channel.

From Jumpers to Pickles, engineering terminology can be confusing to the uninitiated. Luckily, Sulzer’s highly experienced experts have been carrying out quality rotating equipment repairs and upgrades for decades. In Thingamajig 2.0, get an idea of the knowledge required to be a Sulzer expert.
