Spelsberg strengthens internal team with Finance and Facilities Assistant Naison Mkuku

Spelsberg UK, a global leader in electrical enclosure innovation, has continued to grow its team by welcoming Naison Mkuku into his new role as Finance and Facilities Assistant.

Bringing plenty of energy and focus to the team, Naison is already proving to be a versatile addition. His role spans two key areas of the business – finance and facilities – giving him a broad remit with plenty of room to make an impact.

“It wasn’t just one-dimensional,” he explains. “The mix of work really appealed to me.”

On the finance side, Naison is currently responsible for bank statement reconciliation and managing complex transaction processes. These tasks might be in the background, but they are essential for keeping the company’s day-to-day operations accurate and accountable, ensuring that the numbers behind the scenes reflect the high standards seen on the shop floor.

At the same time, Naison is actively studying for his Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification and is keen to keep progressing.

“I’m focused on the future,” he says. “I know challenges will come, but I’m ready for them.”

Outside of work, Naison leads a full and active life. He’s an avid traveller – with a trip to South Africa coming up – and a regular gym-goer following a strict training and nutrition regime. “I’ve cut out carbs to lean down,” he laughs, “but I’m planning to get back into Olympic lifting once I’ve hit my fitness goals.”

He’s also a passionate musician and is a skilled DJ with appearances at several large London clubs under his belt – though he insists that he “won’t name names” about which ones!
