Sulzer expands pump business in Riyadh

Sulzer recently expanded its Flow Equipment manufacturing plant in Saudi Arabia to meet ever-increasing demand for infrastructure development in the region. As a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps for water, industry and energy, the facility expansion was completed over four years to minimize impacts on production. The expansion includes a new assembly and packaging area, warehouse and headcount increase, as well as new office space, bringing the facility to 13,127 square meters and 215 employees.
  
With Saudi Vision 2030 spurring numerous multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sulzer has recently expanded its centrifugal pump manufacturing and testing facility located in Riyadh, to help meet demand across all sectors. The expanded facility features new overhead cranes to accommodate assembly, packaging and performance testing of some of the largest pumps in the Sulzer portfolio. It also offers the full range of aftermarket services for all Sulzer and Saudi Pump Factory products, including repairs, spare parts, and retrofit solutions.
