V-Ex has moved into expanded facilities in the heart of Worcester as part of a multi-million pound investment in its digital, creative and broadcast services. The new facilities incorporate state-of-the-art broadcast studios as well as modern offices for the expanding creative and technical teams.

As a premier supplier of services to the events industry, V-Ex is known for its innovative virtual events platform and its dedicated creative and project management teams. The decision to invest in new facilities allows the business to incorporate a number of new, in-house services: most notably film studios for live broadcast and video production.

Roland Renshaw, company CEO, comments: “As a solutions provider to the events industry it’s crucial that we can offer our customers exceptional service – quickly. Our new Worcester offices have allowed us to expand our team of video, CGI and graphic creatives, while also bringing a state-of-the-art broadcast service into the city.

“Our focus is on customer enjoyment, which is why the accessibility of the building and facilities, such as changing rooms and meeting spaces, is so important.”

The move has also enabled V-Ex to accelerate its mission to becoming a carbon negative business. A large solar array powers much of the building, while the V-Ex servers are hosted exclusively by a provider that has achieved internationally recognized Carbon Neural standards. As a result, the company’s virtual events are proven to reduce carbon emissions by 99% when compared to equivalent live event.

The 2.6 acre facility is located ½ mile from Worcester Shrub Hill station and includes 15,000 sq ft of studio, meeting and office space, as well as 60+ car parking spaces. The studio offers 100 m2 of digital recording and broadcast space incorporating a permanent installed LED video wall and flexible lighting arrangements.
