Sulzer to provide BioFlux™ technology for SEDC Energy sustainable aviation fuel plant in Malaysia

SEDC Energy (SEDCE) is collaborating with Sulzer Chemtech to deploy its proprietary BioFlux technology at Sarawak’s upcoming Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) pilot plant. The facility will convert locally sourced HEFA (Hydroprocessed Esters and Fatty Acids) feedstocks – including algae oil, palm oil mill effluent (POME), animal fats and used cooking oil (UCO) – into SAF.
