Metsä Fibre, part of the Finnish forest industry company Metsä Group, and Sulzer Pumps Finland have signed an agreement for the supply of process pumps, medium-consistency pumps and mixers for the main processes of the bioproduct mill that will be built in Kemi. The delivery will include several hundred devices.
Sulzer acquires Turbo Services Inc., a leading independent service provider for aero-derivative gas turbines, building on its successful diversification into distributed power applications.

Sulzer is launching a major investment project to digitalize and automate the assembly, test bed and painting processes in its Finnish factory in Kotka, located 130 km east of Helsinki.
